Richard Walters

Richard is Director of the Natural Health Practice. He qualified as an Acupuncturist in 1990 from the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and as a Zero Balancer in 1992. Prior to his interest in complementary medicine Richard studied Zoology and Neurobiology at London University, and then travelled and taught English abroad for a number of years. Richard is also a teacher of Psycho-Expansion and runs Meditation evening classes of “Journeys to the Spirit” at the clinic.

Since starting full time practice in 1990, Richard has continued studying, qualifying as a Zero Balancing Teacher in 1996, attending many additional Acupuncture courses and belonging to an ongoing Acupuncture study group. More recently Richard has been studying Identity Therapy, finishing the initial one year Practitioner Training in 2015 and An advanced practitioner training in 2018, and he continues to study this in the UK and in Germany, and belongs to an ongoing supervision group.

Richard is a very experienced practitioner with a broad knowledge of natural and complementary therapies. He loves sharing his knowledge in practice and in teaching.

He practices from Exeter, Newton Poppleford and Lyme Regis.

Richard is married to Karin, with two sons.
